You must read, understand and abide by these rules to participate in the role play boards.
If you have any questions about these rules, please post them in this thread. I will answer them and modify this post as necessary.
1. Post in the right section.
The Preparation Board is an out of character section for throwing ideas around and gathering interested role players.
The Roleplay Board are for roleplay.
2. Be aware of the two types of threads: open and Permission Only.
"Open" threads are threads in which any poster may jump in and post at any time.
"Permission Only" threads are threads in which a poster must first ask the lead poster permission to join.
Note: The lead poster must put " (Permission Only) ", or " (appropriate synonyms) " in the thread's title for it to be officially a restricted thread.
3. No Godmoding. Your character has to obey the laws of physics as well as the laws of his character sheet.
4. No controlling other people's characters without their express permission. Any violations should immediately be reported by the offended party to the role play moderators.
5. No double-posting.
6. No sexual content, yiffy or any explicit or other kind of fetishes in the RP Board. Keep the RPs completely clean.
7. Restriction of out-of-character comments. Out of character comments, normally denoted by ((comment)), cannot be the entirety nor the majority of a post in the Roleplay World.
8. User-created rules. Creators of both closed and open threads may create additional rules as they see fit. These rules cannot be in conflict with these rules. Violators of user-created rules will be subject to reprimands and removal from the thread. Attempts to join in the thread again will result in a ban, length depending on number of violations.
10. Legibility.
I will delete posts that have grammar/structure/spelling confusing enough that it is nigh impossible to tell what the poster was saying. (Power of deletion to be used sparingly.)
Role Play Advisements:
1. The lead post should include a description of the story being role played, as well as a starting point for others.
2. When introducing your character, please put a link to the character description post in the Preparation board:
In the post, please describe their physical, emotional, mental and historical qualities, as well as anything else important for the role play.
3. Don't put short posts or posts that have nothing happening in them.
4. Don't modify previous posts that later posts rely upon.
OOC-only posts are spam posts. Remember that there always has been, and always will be, a restriction on OOC comments.
Don't lose your RP privileges because of spam!!!

There is a pattern showing where people think it isn't allowed in one RP and it's perfectly fine to do it in another. Wrong. The rule applies to all RPs, the one it's not allowed in and the one you think it's allowed in alike, and it applies to everyone. It also applies to all types of comments, including but not limited to:
- ((Summary?))
- ((Can I join?))
- ((*response to "Can I join?"*))
- ((Is anybody still on?))
- ((gtg I'm going to bed.))
- ((Sorry, my internet kicked the can, and I haven't been able to play as much.))
And any other comments where the post is nothing but an OOC comment. Many warnings will be issued for this and RP privileges removed as a final result.
If you lose your RP privileges and you create a new account to get around this for any reason, you will be permanently banned from the forums for having multiple accounts as it says in the forum rules.
This activity should be reported when someone sees someone doing it, and we highly encourage everyone to be reporting it to keep this activity under control.
I will post a certian banner on your RP topic in order for it to be approved.
